I studied at Islahiya College, Chennamangallur during 1982-85. After spending two fruitless years as a pre- degree student at PSMO college, I was, quite determined to have a watershed in my life in terms of an eye-opening educational experience. Alhamdulillah, Islahiya literally quenched my thirst and moulded me into what I was in the subsequent years.

Islahiya College is one of the top class educational institutions in Kerala. I am honoured to say Islahiya is my Alma Mater that was instrumental in shaping my culture and character. Islahiya's Arts and Islamic Course has been a game changer in Muslim education.

I am truly proud to identify myself as part of the legacy of the Islahiya family. With a proven past and a proud present, Islahiya will surely have a bright future in the hands of a leadership dedicated to the mission. May Allah bless this mission and the visionary leaders behind it.

The quiet power of Islahiya College in shaping my future has become strikingly clear to me only in the years since I departed. Reflecting on my time there, the vibrant academic environment and the myriad opportunities offered subtly nurtured my growth and development in ways I wasn't aware of then.

To me ‘Islahiya’ was a mentor and life guide, nurturing a lifelong love for learning. I’m profoundly proud of being a disciple of the renowned scholars like KC Abdullah Moulavi, EN Mohammed Moualvi, O. Abdurahman etc. whose unique pedagogical practices made me convinced that the journey of acquiring knowledge is ongoing throughout life.

Islahiya College shaped my future by nurturing my thoughts, creativity, and actions. Guided by inspiring educators, the institution broadened my horizons and became a true blessing in my educational journey.

At Islahiya College, I found more than an education—I discovered a way of thinking and learning. The inspiring teachers, vibrant intellectual culture, and rich library shaped my passion for literature, philosophy, and research. Beyond academics, I developed critical thinking, writing, and presentation skills that continue to guide my journey as a researcher and educator.

The Islahiya college reformed me and sparked my passion to books and the teachers fetched me to Economics.The college enriched me through its library,forums and parliament, erased my stage fear and shaped my understanding of the real world- proud alumnus!

In 1989 when my admission to the Mar Ivanios College at Thiruvananthapuram was sure, I heard my father speaking about Islahiya College and it became a turning point in my life. I told him that I would also love to learn about Islam. Back at Thiruvananthapuram I was leading a life of name sake Muslim till then. I am what I am now. Islahiya College has its share of influence in making me a Post Doctoral Fellow, an author of six publications.

I am very grateful for the invaluable education, and strong academic foundation,both Islamic and general,I had received from Islahiya .As a proud alumnus, with heartfelt commitment
